Conserving Ammo

Post by dasmoeturhead » Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:01 am

I've been conserving ammo lately, due to the current political climate. I'll shoot a hundred or so .22lr, but haven't been shooting the centerfire stuff. Yesterday however I paid my truck off, and decided to shoot my AK47 in celebration. I planed on shooting just 2 boxes of 20 rounds. I had so much fun, I had to open up a couple more boxes of pure fun. Hitting the gong off hand at 50 yards. I'm happy with that.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Yep have some shooting fun but keep a good eye on your ammo supply. I'm going down to the range tomorrow to cut some grass and will bring along my 357 Henry rifle for some play.
Could be a long dry spell as far as ammo and reloading supplies go.

Because of the knee surgery I haven’t shot for a while, Doc says I can start again in a couple of weeks. I’ll probably go with the rimfires for a while.
