July 12th, 1860

Breezy, 70F. 1860 Henry 45 Colt. 200 gr LRNFP, 7.0 gn Universal. Took a couple of 20 round boxes with me.

50 yds, from 1 knee. open sights, 12 rounds, the little antler I mounted on the stock for luck seems to work...

50 yds again, 24 rounds, tried to put some on each of the white spokes too as well as in the middle, that's tough to do for sure.

25 yds, my last 4 rounds. I duck taped a casing and a dime to white cardboard and shot from 1 knee. Clipped them both, I think on the last 2 rounds. The brass was standing on end so trying to hit a bullet with a bullet...

The wow part is actually finding that dime after it went flying....crawling around in the dirt behind the target board...

Like you really need any luck from an antler horn. Id be lucky to see the dime let alone hit it. How many rounds did you shoot at the dime before it was in the dirt? By the way what is the hold for the the pistola on that target here with the diamonds on it you posted yesterday? Are you holding at the outer point to get them in the center?

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
