Yes Ive used that pinky under the grip hold and it does infact minimize the knukle busting. One thing I find is for me anyway that when shooting pistolas one needs to shoot them a heck of alot more often than I do. I tend to always want to shoot the rifles when going shooting. I noticed yesterday when I did grip the Uberti with the pinky under the grip and concentrate on the hold that my shooting improved a lot. One tends to let that concentration not be present like it should be when you havent been to the range with pistols all the time. I have BH in all the calibers 357 41 44 and 45. I agree with the 357 BH I have one in convertible with the 9mm cyl 5.5 inch and one with a 4 5/8s barrel. I like shooting those the best in that caliber. My convertible even has cylinder throats that are the right size for lead. That was a surprise when I bought that. Thanks for the thoughts NCG and there always welcome from you in any of my posts.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

The good news is the range opened on Friday and I’m going tomorrow.fortyshooter wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 11:34 amSir Henry....sounds like you need a good dose of "Saloon" time. One plane ticket to Va. for a weekend shoot would fix you right up.
But there is that darn Convid risk on the trip dang it!
Hang in there and hopefully you can get some shooting in.
