It was in the mid 60's yesterday. I took advantage of that fact and took my 640 pro series and my 327 snub out for a range session. I fully intended to take photographs, but there were plenty of other shooters at the range, so no time for leisurely pics. I shot 125 grn +P hollow point for .38 and 125 grn .357.
I shot at 7 yds and 25 yds. My targets were the inner circle of the standard paper plate. All but the .357 s from the 327 were in at all distances . Most of the .357s were in at 25. I think three were out. That 327 sure bucks hard.
It was a beautiful day for shooting. By the way, I was the only shooter with a revolver.
Edit. I just read this. I should have said that all but one of the plates were in the target except one of the .357 s at the 25 yd mark. Three were out of the center on one on the 327. By the end of the session it was bucking pretty hard.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Glad you had a good weather day to shoot. Not to bad for this time of year. The last couple days that had really nice temps it has been 15+ mph winds and higher at times. We hit 70* for a short time one day this week but very windy so I stayed home and dis stock work.

Nice to see Dave with a Range report even if it lacks the pictures. Now if we could just get him to have a drink with us once in a while all would be good.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Good to see you out shooting, again, Dave. Yeah, the 327 does have some recoil when shooting it in a small handgun, especially with the AE 100 grain loads. There are some 85 grain SD loads, though, that are more comfy to shoot.
