Rebarreled BBB Debut
Well as most of you know I had to have a mag tube, to split where the inners locks into the outer.
Sent it it in and guess they decided it needed a beefer setup which in turn didn't match the barrel.
So there for I got a new barrel to go with the new tube.
Now this morning before I left for work I walked out on the back porch and slung 3 250 grainers at the back yard gong. All 3 clear misses.
Oh wait a minute, Al yes I shut the door. She was home this morning. Now.
So this afternoon I took a little trip over to the barn.
Took my Keith style loads, and some 240 swc hp's.
Yep, bad low and a little left, at 50 yds.
Made a couple adjustments on the elevation.
1, 2, then the 2 together, next a little left, then high probably operator.
Then i brought out the Wyoming sight drifter, got a little carried away now I'm off a little right.
Last 5 rounds of those 240's, may have found something here, 19.3 grs of 2400.
They did hit lower than the 250's.

Glad your getting it dialed in.
I may have been a little more surprised by the new barrel.
Their warranty, their fix I suppose.

I was, but knew it right off as the octagons on the new guns are more rounded.Ojaileveraction wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:30 pmGlad your getting it dialed in.

I like the sharper edges like I had, but it looks like it is going to be a shooter.

That looks like a keeper Randy. Maybe adjust the fence lean and you can bring it up. But I bet you can ring steel with that load now.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Oh yeah, definitely, I just over corrected a little.
I'll fix it on the next outing.

Looks like you have the new barrel in hand. A little more tweaking and you should have it. Hope you are happy with the surprise barrel.
