A little .22 plinking today!

Post by fortyshooter » Wed Mar 04, 2020 10:26 pm

Nice day so I brought out my small .22 collection of the Henry pump action,Victory .22 pistol and the Heritage Arms SA revolver.
Set up 2 fields of targets to shoot at and had a great time! Was shooting .22 LR CB's which are just plain relaxing fun to shoot and some CCI mini mags along with Federal Target Auto Match. https://youtu.be/lYgYUcIEnrQ.

Now for some reason my Go Pro decided to stop recording about a couple minutes before the end of my session so sorry for abrupt end !
These cameras have a mind of their own.

Anyway I shot a decent 4 shot group with the Henry shooting the CB's...not to bad!
My Victory had a couple feeding issues but you know how .22 semi autos can be!

The Heritage Arms revolver can be a fun time when shooting those CB's too.

Had a great time plinking along with my neighbor Dave who stopped by later to shoot his Ruger 10/22.

Great video Forty. Need to get my 22’s out again. Have one of those pumps myself along with several 22 Leverguns. Also need to take along my Uberti 1873 12 shot. Been thinking about one of the new Ruger little Wrangler 22’s. Local gun store has them for 170. Watching you and hearing RifleTom talk about 22 shooting just makes me want to get back out there.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Great shooting. You really have a nice range. I have a couple speed tube loaders and they work great but I seldom use them.

Yep, shooting those .22's are fun. Gene got the ball rolling here a week or so ago, and now look at us! Next will be the 39A. Iron sights and all.
Great videos again forty. Good thing you took out those dangerous 2 litres. Never know about those! :P

Yeah those 2 litres can be down but still have some life. After the video suddenly ended I went on shooting with the Henry and decided to put another round in that shot orange 2 liter. Well he had some life yet with still another fountain squirt!! That was great!
Thanks for watchin' !

Did you make the speed loader tube? I'll have to see if the size of tube needed is something common.

Yeah put some cans and targets out there and grab a box of CB's or Quiets and enjoy a lazy afternoon!

They have been commercially available for a long time.
