Wake County Sheriff Dept. has or had a range that is shared with the public on certain days. The new Sheriff in town (elected Nov.) decided it wasn't making enough money and canceled the contract with a vendor that ran it. That supposition is up for debate. It may open later. Politics. In the mean time, I am out my membership fees that I paid for life time access. No mention about refunds. Like that is going to happen. :x Grrrr! It is a nice indoor range.

I lost my favorite spot a few months back. they were great people that worked at the range, really good deals on firearms. Due to the laws changing in Illinois they could no longer stay in business.
this is the third gun store that I know of that is gone out of business. There was one by the Illinois rifle association range that went out of business. we only knew that because they were having a garage sale, and they had all kinds of hunting equipment and firearms. He then told us what happened to his store.
