I'm not sure a v8 will do it ! May need a v10.

That is a great looking bench. :) I almost built a decent shooting bench a few years ago, but after pondering it for awhile and realizing I already have enough obstacles to mow around, and that I'd only use it occasionally - like maybe once or twice a year - I decided not to. Most of my regular practice sessions are defensive handgun anyway, usually on the move and/or various positions, and I don't reload so no need to work up various loads for rifle or pistol.

We used it once a week last summer and fall. My neighbors were not totally thrilled. I don't have that many thank goodness. Nearest one is half mile away. We do reload alot and with 2 new henry's and several new bp guns we do experiment alot. We also have a handgun setup where we can shoot from 15 to 25 yards. Hopefully the backstop and bench thaw out soon.
