New Bench for Range

Post by PJM » Mon Jan 06, 2020 12:26 pm

My son built this for our home range. A little overkill for some. Works great. Needed a forklift to put in truck. Good thing he owns his own lumber company,! Right now under foot of snow.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Well constructed and should do the job! Maybe motorize it to move it to various distances.

Looks nicely solid; better a little "overkill" to keep it together since it sits outside. Thumbs up! :) I like it.

BTW, did your son use decking screws? Our wood deck was built with nails, and as it has aged the sticking-out nails are becoming a prob.

A set of wheels and a V8 and it's all done.... :)

Very well built for sure!

Actually used a nail gun and ringed exterior nails. I treated the whole thing with 2 coats of exterior stain and it is tarped for the winter.

Looks great, and sturdy! If not treated though, definitely throw a tarp over it. Should last for years!...I like it...☺
