I have used 16-17 gr. of Alliant 2400 powder. The bullets actual weight was 315 gr.
This is in upper level "Ruger Only" loads.

I tried some longer bullets in my 41 at one point but I dont remember what the length was and they wouldnt work. Ive also tried some in longer length in the 357 and they wouldnt feed to well either. Maybe I will order some slammers next time I get more of the 357 180's

I tried the MB 300 gr. "Hammer" version in my .44 Mag BBS and they would not feed...to long.

Yep just load them to within 14000 psi. standard Colt limit.
