Good Day At The 'Range'

Post by Mistered » Sun Nov 10, 2019 5:30 pm

Had a pretty good couple hours shooting today.
I think I have approached accuracy excellence with my Henry as per the pic.
After some messing around with my new rest and getting 'dialed in' I patched my target and shot this, 50 yard five shot group. This is about the best group I have ever shot with my Henry. My new home made rest really helps and I am going to improve it a bit down the road with a better and more secure 'cradle' for the forestock.

MANY pinecones were injured or killed as well, mostly due to my CZ 9mm and .45 1911 but a few to my Henry as well. Heck I couldn't miss and had 'em flying in all directions!
Pics of some dead ones with bullet wounds!

I'm awaiting for the deer & elk hunters to dissipate before joining you at your "range." Great shooting.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
