Shooting semi-dead cans of expanding spray foam is a hoot too. Just enough foam left in the semi-dead cans to make it interesting. Clean up is easy. The foam expands into puffed balls and streamers that once cured can be just raked up.

Thanks Randy!
I wanted to add ( now that I remember ). on the large target, the holes in the top right of the square outline are where I was aiming.
Had two left in the tube and wanted to aim at a clean area. Those were the last ones before I treated myself to cans and bottles.

I sure hate to read about bottles being shot.
Swap 'em out with clays. Better, brighter targets and environmentally safe.

Plastic bottles and cans that end up in the recycle bin.
Don't leave bright clay bits all over the range either.

I read bottles and my first thought was glass.
Since all of my shooting takes place in the National Forest trash issues are a primary concern - so much in fact there a couple of non-profits that sponsor clean ups of popular outdoor shooting areas.
Clays are accepted biodegradeable targets and don't remain as 'bright clay bits' for too long. Ever been to a trap range?
