My new Ruger Wrangler is a nice gun. I paid 179.99 for it; it’s exactly what I wanted, an inexpensive plinker that I can shoot a lot without worrying about it. It fits that bill well. It’s a Ruger, with excellent build quality. The Cerakote finish looks nice and seems durable.

The hardest thing for me has been learning to shoot it well. The trigger? Well, let’s say it’s not the best. I won’t have it worked on, so it is what it is. Maybe it will improve a bit with time. So, guess it’s practice, practice, practice...

ditto, if it's the same as a Single Six, you can pull off one of the grips and lift one leg of the trigger spring off the peg, a la the Poor Man's trigger job. Have done it on many a New Model Ruger and it will reduce trigger pull weight, considerably. It's also reversible, so not a permanent mod.

I don't have a Wrangler (yet) or a Single Six (yet), I do have a 5 1/2" stainless Single Ten. I put a 16# hammer spring and a 30oz trigger spring in it, it shoots great. Had it at the indoor range again today. On my New Vaquero 357 Mag I put in a 15# hammer spring and a 30oz trigger spring, along with a Super Blackhawk hammer. Both shoot great, very nice on the thumb cocking the hammer, and nice trigger pull.

I have three more sets of 15# hammer and 30oz trigger springs for the next three Ruger single action revolvers that (those springs work in) get added to the vault.

Want to better your trigger pull? Shoot her a thousand times and I guarantee you it will become smoother.

Im pretty happy with the trigger on my Wrangler. I have a few hundred rounds through it.

Mine's double barrel. I paid about $48. My life with Wrangler is really good.

I do the two for $20 Wranglers at Bi-Mart when it comes up!
