At the range

Post by Shakey Jake » Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:30 am

I'm going to try and dial in the BLR and the Marlin 44 now that I've got it scoped. I'll post a report later.

I'm still not comfortable with my eyes on target acquisition but here's some pic of 50 then 100 yards. I guess the 100's posted first plus all sideways from what I took.......

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Yeah, I got closer groups at 50 with the BLR but all were off the mark (10 rounds ea.) I had to hustle to the 100 yard range during the "cease fire" or probably could have done a bit better job. I didn't want to stay too long as the temps and wind were picking up. Still a bit disappointed in the .44 but I guess it'll have to do for now.

Looks like good shooting to me. Better than I could do.
