Two in a row!
Two in a row!
I enjoyed my Sunday range day so much I just had to go again today! This time I stretched the BBSC 357 out to 50 yards. I’m still using the same Monarch/PPU 158gr SJHP ammo that I bought a ton of while on sale for $15.99.
I started out with a 6” Shoot N C target. First shot was nearly a bullseye! It went a bit downhill from there.
Then I started using the 3” Shoot N C targets so I could get some contrast with the black front post and the white paper plate. Just put the “tiny” black target on top of the front post and squeeze the trigger. That seemed to help on the next two targets.
I lost focus on the last target. Fatigue, the sun and the insects got the best of me. I decided to call it quits after that one. I fired 35 rounds and had a great time. I’m looking forward to cooler weather and no insects.

A good mixture of targets on your second outing. It reflects easily the results many of us have. The best part is that we know we can be more consistent and accurate, so we go back out for more!! With that practice under our belts, it gets better.
Your second to last target is a wall hanger. I have some of those next to my cleaning bench, too. Always fun.

P.S. Agreed on the cooler weather....

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Two in a row!
Thanks for all the kind comments! I feel like I’m improving a bit. Irons at distance are certainly challenging. The thrill of shooting and that little bit of improvement make me keep going back for more.

The good old six o'clock hold really helps with bullseye shooting, no doubt about it. Good work, there.
