50 yds with open sights and a penny? Yikes, that would be a shot alright. Might as well shoot them, they are worthless up here now anyway. Discontinued currency.

Maybe I'll give it go next weekend. It would be interesting to see what a 250gr lead slug does to it if it hits (and I can find it afterwards).

I wasn't aware that Canada has discontinued their pennies .... there was talk about doing so in the US a good while back but apparently nothing came of it

Those pennys show your good shooting.every one of those would be touching if that was one target.

Nice shooting man, I had a Savage/Stevens 200 in 223 for a few years. Man oh man that thing would flat shoot.
Got the itch for a 444, so it was sold off to help finance that.
Only 223 now is an AR.
