Fun with the BBS .44...the Bulldog and S&W 69 !
A beauty of a day this morning so after some grass cutting had some plinking fun with my Henry .44 Carbine and also
brought along the Bulldog .45 Colt and my trail revolver the S&W M-69.
Was shooting my 240 gr. Speer Jacket Soft Nose rounds using 10 gr. of Unique a nice general purpose load.
Shooting the water jugs and gong that is down in the woods.
https://youtu.be/yj7tpvjhFB8
Also brought along my Bulldog .45 Colt and wanted to shoot some of my .45 Special loads thru it which are 255 gr. plated bullets
over 5.8 gr. of Unique. On the target the Bulldog hits in a broad area to right.
The nice tight group of 5 hits just to bottom of Red zone were from my S&W M69 .44 Mag revolver from 12 yds.
standing and shooting one handed. Those rounds were 230 gr. lead SWC with GC and 9 gr. of Unique.
This is one sweet load I put together just for the M69 with 4.2 inch barrel ! Bullets from Matt's Bullets.
The hit in center of Red zone was one shot from the Henry Carbine from 50 yds. with factory sight. !
That round was the Speer 240 gr. JSN. Sweet!
Looks like I shoot the Smith a bit better than the Dog but to be fair the Bulldog is for up and close work!
And to wrap it up I took a few shots at a Listerine bottle with the Bulldog shooting my .45 Special loads and tried it right handed
just for grins. Being a lefty handgun shooter looks like I shot the Dog better right handed!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Well it's not my backyard at my home....wish it was....but more like a 30 minute drive to my country hide out/range area!
The Black Branch Ranch
My neighbor down there tries to talk me into moving there but it's just fun having the place as my escape from town life....to lazy to move again!
