She still does good

Post by bandit1250 » Wed Jun 26, 2019 7:35 pm

My wife came home from getting her hair cut and I was on the back porch shooting her Ruger she just had gave to her by a friend of mine. I asked if she wanted to shoot it and she said OK. I was using up some patched up targets from other range times and had already shot the top left myself and had just adjusted the scope to the left. She hadn't shot a Ruger 10/22 in years and had to get familiar with it and the two stage trigger. I told her to try the top right target. First shot was high left and the next four she put in the black. Then she was happy that she did that well after not shooting a 4lb. trigger for so long and be used to her CZ's that are in 8-10 oz. pull. Then she shot the other targets at the bottom with different brands of ammo we had sitting on the bench. She seems to still be able to do well and needs to get out and shoot more often. Hard to fit it in her schedule and with all the stormy weather. Here is the target shot at 35 yds.

It's nice when you have wives that can shoot. :)
Makes it easier if you have to be away overnight.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Very much agree that you kept the 10/22 shooting experience separate from shooting guns with great triggers like those CZs. Always tough to go back and forth on guns with a very different class of triggers.
