A lucky target
A few weeks back we were here at my home and did some different brands of ammo testing in a friends CZ rifle.(455) We tried all the different ammo he had and a few of the brands I have he thought he might want to use if they shot well and weren't the stuff he didn't want to spend the money for just to go out and shoot. We shot quite a few rounds at 40 yds. out back and the CCI standards were the best for his gun in his price range so he will go with that brand. RWS shot the best but he didn't want to pay the price for it especially since the sale ended. We had the targets shot up pretty bad with only one circle left clean. I had my CZ Lux 22 out side with us waiting for a starling to stop by. None flew in so I said I will just shoot the Lux at the last circle with the RWS Geco ammo. I shot five shots at the circle still at the 40 yds. and watched my wind ribbons for the best time to shoot. I doubt I will ever shoot another group with that rifle at 40 yds. as good as the one I had just shot. He wanted to buy the gun when we walked out and got the target. I cut the target off so he could keep his targets we shot so he could look them over at home and maybe select some thing else to shoot along with the CCI standard vel. I thought I had lost the target but found it under a bag of cleaning patches on my bench about a week ago.

Great group, bandit. That's a wall hanger. As for the CCI SV, that's our bread and butter ammo for target practice. Shoots well in most of our guns. Hard to beat for the price.

Doesn't get much better! Congrats and thanks for sharing, even though it's giving some of us a complex...

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
