I am easily entertained

Post by bandit1250 » Sat Jun 08, 2019 1:04 pm

Waited on some pest birds to drop by last evening but none showed up. Was wanting to shoot something different than the circle targets. So I got out some playing cards and used some of them for my targets. The two cards on the right were my Grand Finale with the barrel fouled with about 2 boxes of ammo through it. The two left hand targets were after wet patching it and several dry patches. Not much difference in the size of the groups. These were 35 yds. and a couple I had to color in an aiming point with only using a straight 6X scope.(Burris 6X HBR) All groups were 5 shots with two different lot # of RWS target rifle.

Our CZs also do very well with the RWS Rifle ammo. Great shooting, bandit.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

You mean like this. 22 yds. with the 513T Remington with peep sights.

This was 33 yds. the same day with the 513T and the peep sights. 3 years ago and my eyes were probably a little better.

Just some fantastic shooting and perfect targets for these kind of drills.

All you need to do now is sign the cards and start leaving them in the bird's nests. They'll think twice about buzzing around your house.
