First time since about February for me to get out and do some shooting. I took out 3 rifles my SS 357 a 38-55 that I hadnt shot yet and my Henry 22 pump that I had put a Bushnell red dot on and hadnt shot yet. First let me say the 357 loads were all with HS-6 powder because I have a ton of it and I want to use it up. HS-6 works good in 45 colt and I had read where it does a good job in 357. All the targets Im about to post were of the 357. I really didnt do much target work with the pump 22 but I will say it shoots excellent with a red dot on it and its just a kick to shoot set up that way. Im also really considering taking off my scope on the SS as I just like plinking better with red dots.
This target is 8.5 grains of hs-6 with a zero 158 grain hp bullet. Shot at 50 yards off bags wind at my back about 10mph and a 65 deg day
This target is 8.2 grains hs-6 with an xtreme 158 grfp bullet
Another target with the xtreme bullet and 9.4 grains of hs-6 with a mag primer. Ive read where hs-6 likes a mag primer better so I tried it on this load. The previous loads were with a standard primer. Im happy with any of the loads above and Im not sure which one I will use but its nice to have 2 different bullets to choose from. Although in this case Im probably going to go with the first load as I just ordered a 1000 of the zero bullets and I am out of the xtreme bullets.
The site should be fixed. We show secure now, we should have a favicon and the picture aspect should be better.

Re: Single Shot Range day
Looks like some great loads, there. Nice shooting, too.
Oh, yeah, plinking with a red dot on a rifle is a LOT of fun.
