Remembered an unanswered question. I should say it was harder pull than I expected. Its likely just fine the way it is, so for now no plans to work on it.

Shooting at river rats may provide a higher level of concentration. You never know you might surprise yourself and smack one with the first shot.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

If I 'concentrate' I'm sure to miss. If I went down there cavalier like, more likely to hit one.

We haven't yet had a 'born on date' share like we did with our Henrys. My Uberti has the Italian proof date stamp 'CT' for 2018. The mfg date code stamp where the cylinder bass pin is inserted 1518 (ww15, 2018 - mid April).

Here they are paired. And they don't abide by the adhoc same caliber rule.

Visiting a friend at Shasta CA, we out to a shooting range yesterday off highway 89. Shot my Uberti at the 50 yd target board. Goal was to shoot a lot just to try and hit the board. I'm sure I hit the board several times, but mostly below the snow line. Saw lots of snow jumping in the air. Only a couple hit above the snow line as seen through binoculars. Wasn't snowshoeing out there to check, so no pictures of any hits. Shot both .45acp and .45lc. Back of my middle finger is a little sore from the trigger guard recoil into my finger. The acp kicks a little harder than the lc. Wonderful thrill sending those bullets out there!

Wow, that's some snow-pack, huh? Thanks for sharing and good for you just getting to the firing line! No doubt you were hitting what you were aiming at!
Makes you marvel at how the real pioneers managed through the seasons "back in the day," doesn't it?

Started out raining this morning. Now there is 5 inches of new snow. No shooting today.
