Ready for the range!

Post by deano5150 » Fri Jan 11, 2019 8:00 pm

I’m planning on going to the range tomorrow and decided to stop and pick up some supplies on the way home from work today. I’m taking my new BBS carbine 357 (this will be my first time shooting it) and my new Sig Sauer P365 9mm pistol (I have 150 rounds through it so far with no problems). I picked up 150 rounds of Remington 115gr FMJ for the pistol and I’ll be using Monarch (PPU) 158gr SJHP and American Eagle 158gr JSP in the Henry. First I’ll put some on paper and make any necessary adjustments to the buckhorn. When I’m satisfied with that I’ll shoot the “targets” I picked up from Sam’s Club. 72 12oz cans of “Faygo” soda at 25 cents each. I’ve shot those in the past with my BBB 357 and they just vaporize! It’s going to be a great day!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Hope the snow doesn’t keep you from the range. Maybe it’s time for a Henry All Weather? :D

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

.
I envy you. Here on public land ranges we can only shoot targets specifically manufactured for target shooting and homemade paper targets. Though blocks of ice are neither, shooting them is fun and the evidence melts :o 8-) .
