for our folks who like to shoot off hand, here is a video for you ===> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPxloOlzmjA .... considering the distance, the wind, firing off hand, open sights, the fellow in this video is one heck of a shooter .... almost up to RR's standard ...

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

That is great shooting, a Guide Gun Off Hand!
At 100 meters, many of those shots would have been in the black.

He had enough time to police his brass before impact!

Re: 45-70 at 1 mile !!
years ago on several occasions while in South Dakota I fired some 200 to 500 yard rounds at a gallon jug out of our Redhawk 44 Mag ..... I came pretty close but never hit the jug .... what I enjoyed the most was experiencing the lag time between pulling the trigger and seeing the dirt fly where the bullet hit .... I was all set to do so again while out there in June/July using both the Redhawk and our Henry .... unfortunately, it simply didn't work out, hopefully it will next summer

The Trap Door test at Sandyhook used a 6 foot square target and a rifle rest.
