Admin please move if this is in the wrong forum. This is an inside the home/garage range report using the iTarget Pro laser training system. It has been very helpful to me. I live in a forested area that is subject to fire restrictions during the spring and summer months and heavy snows during the winter. I bought the iTarget system for dryfire practice indoors with my pistols. I decided to try it with the Henry BBB 357 mag/38 and it works great. Really helps train my old eyes to the iron sights. I purchased the 38 Spl laser bullet. It has a rim so you have to cock the hammer each time to fire it rather than cycling with the lever, although I’m working on that using a different end cap. The pistol cartridges have a reduced rim so that you can cycle the slide. The farthest distance I’ve used it is 35’ but it will work farther away. I’ve found it to be accurate with the way I shoot and is very helpful when changing sights. It has already paid for itself it the ammo that I’ve saved.
Here are some targets I saved:
This was my Glock 26 from 30’.

For those of you who can’t get to the range as often as you like, this, imho, is an excellent training tool. As the app is free, I tried it and other laser training apps before purchasing this one. The app is available for iphone and Android but is geared for specific models. If you do decide to try the system, there is usually a promo code to save on the cost.
If you follow the instructions, it works in most indoor lighting situatons. The main complaints I’ve read are the “bullet” holes aren’t round and ghost hits (this is easily rectified with the proper setup).
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Re: iTarget Pro inside range report
It seems like a great solution to not getting to the range. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: iTarget Pro inside range report
It confirmed everything about my Henry that I saw shooting live ammo. That is, the windage was dead on right out of the box and more practice at various distances will help me with verticle alignment.
On a side note, I have to again emphasize the excellent feeding qualities of the Henry. It handles an unbelievable range of cartridge lengths.

Yep, a bang but not too realistic. I made it very loud by hooking my phone up to a guitar amp just to hear how it sounded.
