Re: Range Report: STEN, Kentucky Rifle and SA Uberti Cattleman
We shot a WWII British STEN, 1873 SA Uberti Cattleman and my Henry Small Game Carbine at 60 yards today. The STEN is a blast to shoot. The only picture is a video which I can’t post here. It is not very often I get to shoot a sub-machine gun but today was was a day. Yes it is as much fun as it sounds. Gotta love Texas and their laws.
I was able to hit four out of five moving metal gongs with six shots at 15 yards with the Uberti.
The Henry was a blast too. I hit a 12” by 24” gong at 60 yards 50 times in a a row. Hot day so no coffee but the Gatorade is shown.

Is there such a thing as having too much fun? You may have gotten close to the upper fun limit.

I miss shooting the full autos. It was lots more fun when someone else paid for all the ammo.
Glad you had a great day.

Good to hear you are shooting your way across Texas, so to speak. Also pleased to be getting another range report on shooting metal targets. I hope folks will continue to post reports and not feel they have to have paper targets to do so,

Paper targets what are those. I think I see those in Alberta Never seen any paper targets here in Colorado. I think they might be outlawed.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
