Range Report: zeroing for rabbits
I shot at a rabbit last week and missed. It surprised me because I was only about 10 yards away. Well I found out way today.
GAMO Big Cat 1400, cal .177
JSB Match Diabolo, Exact Beast 16 grain
Distance 25 yards
My range. This is a telephoto picture. I was shooting from a bench but the bench was not deep enough and only the stock rested on it. The buttstock was held freely. Yes here is the reason I missed. One quick adjustment and I'm on target. Okay rabbits where are you?

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Range Report: zeroing for rabbits
I was able to hit a squirrel about 15 yards away and 20 feet in the air. Because I was shooting at a very high angle I aimed an inch above center of body and the squirrel fell to the ground instantly. I've warned that squirrel about eating cherries on the tree. I threw the carcass in the brush and it was gone in the morning.
