Guns are oil wiped in case it's damp....snowing on and off still. Have fun. Keep those range reports coming all!

I am licensed to take my revolver to the range and that's it. During transport it must have a trigger lock and be locked inside a case. Get caught not following the rules and bye-bye gun license. Not to mention fines and/or jail time.
Are there strict regulations on the range? i.e., can you have a personal range on your own property if you have a safe location? Do you have to keep your handgun locked up when it's on your own property?

Seems odd some shops would have a good selection of handguns when the only shooting opportunities are at a licensed range. I wouldn't think they would sell well given this restriction but I could be wrong. Some gun shops have a good selection of carry-type handguns, but since we have no carry laws here they are for target shooting at a licensed range only.

NCG; I watched a Hickock45 video on your Kimber. That is a little powerhouse.

Congrats on your new Kimber K6. Very informative post and fine shooting. Watched a YouTube where they staged the trigger prior to making the shot. Is that what you did on the targets you posted? Was it difficult finding a gun store that carried this model?
Hope you don’t have any bear encounters; but if you do, adios bear.
