Big Blast Inflator Caps

Post by Mr Bill » Mon Feb 05, 2018 9:11 pm

Big Blast inflator caps, reactive target #1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijeo-zzhyjU

I purchased this today at Walmart for $10, have to say, it was fun, actually hilarious at times.
Inflated with a bicycle pump w/pressure indicator usually to about 100+psi.(40 pumps for 20 oz.)
3 to 4 oz. of water/dust/flour adds to the event and it can be really loud(12ga. loud) but not
every time. Its got a total failure rate about 2 out of 10, but that's kinda fun too as your never
totally confident of a winner blast.
If your handy, you can make your own from a tyre valve stem, alas that is not me these days.
There's quite a few videos on this and like devices, some of the folks are pretty folky. Anyhow
I have no affiliation with the product just passing along some good possible good times.

Cheers.

They are a Blast! Pun intended. I love shooting them with arrows but I have to warn the neighbors first so they don't think someone is shooting at them. Dave

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

BigAl52, I don't drink soda either but we have a recycle trailer in this little town of 750 that I can do a little dumpster diving. Dig some out, go pop them and then throw them back in. Dave

just got back from the Walmart in Columbus, TX .... they had a 6 pack of caps made by a different company .... theirs didn't have the ring to attach a cord .... if the explosion is as violent at reported, having the cap attached should make it easier to find .... in addition, it would provide a handy way to hang the bottle

Attached to that cap ring I put a 3 foot ribbon, sometimes those caps fly pretty far, pretty fast.
