Those look like pretty nice groups with your Mini-14. And it looks like both rifles responded to the sight adjustments well, which is always nice. I hate when you try a couple clicks, get nothing, couple more, nothing, then maybe two more, and it's across the target.
I'd say both of those Rugers are good-to-go!

Some good shooting BM! Haven't had my Mini out in a while and one common issue with mine is the factory peep sight mount screw works loose and I need to blue loctite it. Yes mine throws the brass a good ways out also. The fix for that is an adjustable gas block that replaces the factory unit and is easy to do,

I guess I'm both blessed and cursed Forty. My factory sight appears to be milled into the receiver. The screw most complain about working loose isn't there... A blessing... But if I wanted to order Tech Sights GI Sight for my Mini... Ah Nope... the cursed part.
Mine is also without the half moon cuts for the Ruger Scope Rings, so good thing I wasn't planning on optics and wanted it sleek for the scabbard.
