Wife's M&P .22 compact

Post by graywolf » Sat Aug 26, 2023 9:44 pm

Got cloudy late this afternoon and cooled down some. Decided to take a break from moving things around and cleaning up the shop. Took wife's M&P out behind the house and shot a few rounds. Been a while. Left target at 10 yds, took couple good steps closer, so right targets about 5-7 yds.

I like that 10 yard target! Have you tried that CCI Quiet for semi-autos yet? I picked up some a while pack and was surprised they ran my S&W Victory fine without a jam which can be picky with ammo. However they are on the edge of being quiet.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I did buy a couple boxes of them Quiets a while back. I shot a few rounds, but forgot which gun I shot them in. Hope to shoot some more today before cleaning, may try some to see if they cycle.

CCI Quiet Semi-Autos are my next best favorite for my 10/22 TD, they are almost hearing safe. I added a linear comp which will probably improve the noise level a little.

They are still loud in an unsuppressed pistol.

Didn't shoot any Quiets, but shot my M&P this afternoon. Not much better than shooting my wife's yesterday. 10 yds. Left target getting warmed up, more ways than one. Second target adjusted elevation up 2 clicks. Far right was my last shots.
