A little range work today...
Had two loads of fill dirt delivered today to expand the range for more targets. Also tried out a couple of new hanging targets suitable for rimfire up to .45 ACP. Tried them out with the .22 12 shot Uberti revolver and they ring nicely! More to come!
Lot of work though...the dump gate on back of truck fell off when the load started to dump and of course we stopped the dump but it was buried under
a foot of dirt. Had to dig it out and then use my Kubota to hoist back up on the dump truck. Good thing I hauled it down there this morning!

That looks like fun. I suppose painting their boots red would not be politically correct. But it would make them easier to see.

Well I went with the yellow and green not knowing how dark the dirt would be. Will see how it works when dirt has dried out. I can always change up the colors. Always a work in progress.

I’ve found steel gongs need to be painted often. Most of mine are nickel plated and easy to see.

Looks good Forty I like the paint scheme. Red boots would cool to. And I dont care about politically correct.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

No "PC" down at the Saloon. If you mention that there things get quiet....folks stare.... and the 4 clicks of a Colt can be heard!

Really, if you boil it down we are just a bunch of boys and girls playing in the dirt.
Looking good Forty, I’m going to have to look up the red boots reference as I don’t have a clue what you guys are talking about.

The red boots was just me acting like a child. Not worth pursuing.
