Challenging little target....

Post by RanchRoper » Mon Apr 05, 2021 3:40 pm

Shot this one this morning for a little friendly competition;

Frontier .50 cal
50 grains Triple 7 2f powder
.490 patched lead ball

Had to be 25 yds off hand to qualify. 1 shot at each 1.5" bullseye. No do-overs.

11F this morning at the range, zero wind though which is why I went early. Tough one for sure.

Great shooting especially in sun-freezing temperatures.

Typical spring day here....11F with snow, then 4 hours later 45F, snow is gone and sunshine. Saw someone in town with winter coat and flip flops on.

Took my full stock to the range today along with a pistol. Full Stock had issues. Found a load for the pistol but my rifle needs attention

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
