Burning precious ammo

Had to scratch an itch this morning, so I went out with my Glock 29, Winchester 94, and H001. A couple of failures to eject the last round with the Henry; has anybody else had that happen? Other than that, time was well spent.

Sounds like fun. To cold here and the ammo shortage got me inside in the warm.

Sounds like fun, I dearly wanted to some today also.
But rode to town with the wife and we are just gettin back.
I may step out on the back deck and at least sling a couple at the gongs.

The weather is looking good this week, with a few warmer days predicted. I plan together out.

Glad you got out. I hoping to get out in a bit myself, if weather and time permit. I do not have a H001. So, I cannot not make a direct comment. But on my H009, I noticed casings use to drop out or get hung at times. I just kept shooting, cleaning and working the lever with purpose. Now, the casings fly out. Keep shooting. If things do not improve, contact Henry.

I haven't exercised my 590 Mariner in quite a while, but when I read this thread yesterday, I just had to grab it and head out back to my shootin' stump. Took up a good stance, racked the slide, took a deep breath, pulled the trigger.......and hollered
BOOOM real loud. Immediately felt better.

May not have been as much fun, but it was cheaper.

It was kinda fun, except for no massive recoil from that imaginary Brenneke 1.25oz slug. I might have to come up with a recoil simulator to make it more realistic.
