36F today. 2020 in the history books. Shooting 200 gr LRNFP with 6.7 gn Universal. Pretty much a plinking load in this rifle. 45 Colt. Not much wind today so long distance shooting.

100 yds, off hand, eat your Wheaties, this is a heavy rifle... 8" target, these are with just the buckhorns, no tang

Well done RR. You and that rifle were made for each other.
Happy New Year buddy.

Fine, fine work, RR. You picked a classic to end your shooting year.

Yeah, standard High Walls are a no go for offhand shooting for this girl. Low Walls with shorter, tapered barrels I can do.

RR is an inspiration for me to work on my High Wall and 1873 Winchester shooting for 2021!

Ya it is really heavy. After a few shots I turn from Quigley to Squigley. Guess that's why the crossed sticks were invented....

Great shooting and Happy New Year. Gonna be a while before I get to shoot again but I will make up for it when I get home.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
