Re: BBS 357 range report
I use the Missouri Bullets 158 gr. RNFP in my .38 Special and .357 Mag loads and no problem with either feeding in my Henry.
The COL is 1.425. Shoot really well with 5.6 gr. of Power Pistol.

Re: BBS 357 range report
Thanks Hatchdog. That rest works really good on the elevated benches where I shoot my leverguns. They are about 8-10" higher than our sit down benches. It was a bit awkward getting comfortable behind the rifle at that bench. Came up with pictured rest and Presto!, easy shooting. Big difference. Thanks again Hatch.

Re: BBS 357 range report
Thanks forty. No more getting into a sort of uncomfortable position to shoot. Just raise that thing up if needed and off I go!
Wait! Are you going to do something with a hydraulic jack!? Yep, I like it.

Quote from my original post...
“I did find that the scope height is a bit higher than comfortable for me. I used the Henry mount as it is high enough that the scope clears the rear sight. I like not having to remove the sight. I ordered a strap on butt stock cheek riser which I hope will make the cheek weld more comfortable. Really, I think this problem is just from the bench while shooting multiple shots. Throwing the rifle up to my shoulder while standing the scope lines up just fine.“
I mounted this cheek riser on my rifle that I bought from Amazon. It seems like it might be too high for standing/kneeling shooting but hopefully it will help with bench shooting. As noted my scope lines up well when just throwing the rifle up to my shoulder but from the bench it seemed too high. I’ll report back when I give it a try from the bench again.

Nice report and nice shooting rifles but their should be a caution to not put Jack-O-Rest on the hood of your truck.
