New member from NC
Hello all. I’m a new member from NC. I just bought my first lever gun. It’s a color case hardened big boy in 357. I bought it to compliment my S&W 686 also in 357.
I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet, but I am looking forward to doing so this weekend.
Now, if I could just find ammo !!
Mike

Hey Mike. Welcome from Nebraska. I shoot the 357 also and live it. Enjoy your time here and with your Henry.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Hey Mike!
Welcome from Western North Carolina!
Mine is not the CCH model, however, I too bought my BBS 357 to pair with my favorite revolver. My S&W 6" 686.

Re: New member from NC
Welcome! That seems to be the going combination: .357 revolver paired with a .357 lever action. Most times, the ammo is readily available and can work in both a self-defense (close range = revolver) or hunting (longer range = lever action) role without having to maintain a supply of ammo for both. Keep looking. You may come across a small LGS that limits purchases to a couple boxes of ammo at a time, so most will have some.
