Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
New Old Guy......
New Old Guy......
Greetings from S.E.MO.
For my 60th birthday I picked out a Henry Golden Boy Big in 44mag. Haven’t tried it yet, waiting for the weather to cool down. Extremely hot & muggy here in the bootheel of Missouri. Couple of questions.......
I searched the Henry site but couldn’t locate a page to register the for warranty, anyone know where to find it?
Also, the rifle I bought had been on the dealer shelf for a year, after I got it home and gave it a closer look, the brass receive is very cloudy with what looks like fingerprint smudges. Apparently a lot of people fondled it over the past year. What’s the best way to polish up the brass?
Thanks in advance, MODUG.

Welcome to the forum from CT and congrats on your new Henry Brass Big Boy. You're gonna love that rifle.
No registration is required for the Henry rifle warranty. The rifle itself is the registration and the warranty is for the life of the rifle, not the owner. Henry CS is the best in the business if you ever need it.
Henry recommends:
TO MAINTAIN OR RESTORE THE RECEIVER TO ITS ORIGINAL FACTORY SHINE, WE SUGGEST YOU USE PEEK METAL POLISH, FLITZ, OR NEVR DULL.

I use Flitz on mine. Just be careful of the bluing on the screws. Flitz will take it off.
