Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
Greetings, all
Greetings, all
Howdy. New Henry owner here. Haven't had a lever action in years ... got the bug ,,, wanted my first Henry. I was holding out for a Big Boy X .44 Mag, but decided to go with a Big Boy Steel (H012R) instead. Picked it up today, and can't wait to get to the range, likely tomorrow.
I am going to looking at optics, likely a red dot, to help my old eyes, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. So far the Bushnell TRS-26 is in my sights (get it? ... "in my sights" ... ha!) OK, what will be the first of innumerable bad jokes.

Welcome from Nebraska. I shoot the BBS 357 carbine. You made a good choice for the starter. I put the Sig Saur Romeo 5 on for a red dot. It works very well.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Re: Greetings, all
Yet, another Tom enters the Henry forum! Welcome from Ca. Yeah, aging eyes need help. I put scopes on my two Henry's. The irons just weren't going to work. Weaver(Japan) 1-3x20mm on .357 and Leupold VX 1 2-7x33mm on the .45 Colt. Anyways, welcome from another Tom.

Welcome from southwest lower Michigan. Still waiting for the range to open to enjoy a new to me Winchester 9422M. Hopefully you can get some time on your new Henry. Get some pictures if you can, we like pictures.
