Older, not wiser New again

Post by RoadBlocker » Tue Mar 22, 2016 12:57 pm

Glad to see the Henry clan back together. We've got 3 Henry rifles that don't get enough shooting time and keeping up with other enthusiast's motivates me to get out & burn thru some ammo. I picked up a speed-e-loader and it's a real convenience, keeps the momentum going for those plinking sessions. Always looking for gun improvements like sights, action. Seems most suggestions come down to shooting more to get things well honed. Warm weather helps getting to the range. My area needs more range options. I belong to a club, but they cater to the trap shooting big spenders. They frown on tin can shooting & golf ball pinging, so we have to make time in the middle of the day to have the range to ourselves.

Welcome, sorry that you can't get enough range time due to the trap shooters.

Welcome to the forum. Finding time for the range is my problem too.

Welcome RoadBlocker. I too belong to a club but, fortunately, rifle shooting is the most emphasized with pistols a close second. I plan to go out there tomorrow. The weather here in central Texas is very pleasant but windy.

Welcome.

I like to shoot trap once in a while. I doubt I would fit in their circle. I like shooting cans and golf balls.

I'm glad you joined.
