New member and 2x Henry owner
Hey guys and gals,
My name's Jay and I'm from Texas. I brought home my second Henry yesterday and couldn't be happier. Both of mine are Big Boy steel models. One in .357 and my newest one is a 30-30. Had a time getting the bolt out the first time for cleaning. Guess that will work itself out over time as I break it in. I debated getting the loading gate version, but I just couldn't justify the extra expense on the brass frame model. Maybe one day soon they'll have the loading gate versions in the steel and all weather versions. I love how Henry listens to their customers, and now I'm rolling my pennies for an All Weather .44 to start taking down some hogs with! What does everyone else have?
Jay

Welcome from the Show-Me-State, Jay. You do have a couple of very nice Big Boys in great calibers.
For myself, I'll be quite interested in seeing Range Reports and hearing about your new .30-30. I think that's a really cool deer-hunting rifle.
Enjoy the Forum, and the Henrys.
