No it isn't. Plain and simple, my photographic skills suck. Took that outside in the sunlight so everything is too bright. I'll pull out the old Kodak Instamatic and give it another shot. In the real world the wood is beautifully dark and even has much more character than showed up in this pic.

Not a Henry but a relative had some custom stocks made of a maple burl he found one of which he uses on a custom Mauser he has hunted with for a long time that is absolutely beautiful.GunnyGene wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 9:04 amThanks.
