.
Welcome to the forum from the TV, Oregon! Many here also have an interest in the new side-gate loaders.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I’m on the Central Coast of California, and new to the forum. I currently own two Big Boys, .357 and .45 Colt. Through family, I came into possession of a 100+ year-old Ideal Tool Co. reloading tool which I restored to working condition. The tool is for .38-55. Being a caster and reloader, it is a proud piece for me to own, but I didn’t have a rifle in .38-55, until now. I have the new side-gate in 38-55 ordered through my LGS. It should be in any day now :-)

Welcome to the forum glad you joined us. I have one of the new side gates in my possession. I like it alot though I havent shot it yet. Please visit our how many thread and add the 2 you have to our running total. http://henryrifleforums.com/viewtopic.p ... &start=840

I have several 38-55's in other brands. The new Henry has a tighter bore on it than any of the others I own. 38-55 is really a neat old caliber and very easy on the shoulder when shooting it. If you check out youtube Iragvet 8888 has a great review on the new Henry.
