I am new to this Forum and to owning a Henry. I acquired my Henry Big Boy Silver 44 Magnum exactly 6 days ago. I have put just under 400 rounds through it and love the rifle. It is also my first rifle.
I live in Illinois and my hobbies include being a fanatic golfer, an amature photographer, and an avid handgun shooter (target - paper and metal). My pistols are all 1911 platforms from Nighthawk (9mm, 10mm, .45 caliber).
I have been retired for almost 5 years now and spend time with my wife, children, and enjoying my hobbies.
If history is indicative of the future, I will own a number of Henry rifles in the next couple of years.
Mike

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Welcome to the forum from KC!
Like 1911s, Henrys can be habit-forming, so we'll all look on with interest as you get acquainted with how fun they can be.
Lots of great people here, so jump right in!

Hope those 400 rounds through that .44 Magnum were flawless.
I was born and raised in IL. My childhood town was only six miles from Chicago city limits, and I lived in northern, central, and southern IL over the years. Now I'm retired (mid-2012) living in the Northland of KCMO. Still have family in northern IL and southern WI, so do get back to that neck of the woods at times. What part of the state are you in?
Enjoy your time looking through the various Forums....a lot of good reads on many firearms topics here.
