Hi! My name is Pete and I have a confession to make. I love to shoot. Rifles or handguns. Makes no difference. Further confession. I've never owned a lever gun. I know. Poor Baby!
Anyway. Retired in 2002 from "Fisher Controls"..... I know. You never heard of it. Was into welding and Maintenance.for 30 yrs.
Bought my first lever gun (Henry steel BB) a week ago yesterday. Shot it the following Monday and found out real quick that I'm gonna need a scope. Three inches at 50 yds. Dug out a 6x. Burris and put that on. Will see what happens Wed.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Us flyover people appreciate all the welcomes we can get.
PT7,
My steel Henry is in .38/.357.
Will post some pictures when I can figure how. Last picture I posted on a forum all I had to do was a click, copy, paste, arrangement. I have a photo bucket account but it's been so long since I used it that they've either changed it, or I haven't been able to figure out how it works. Is there a message on here that gives step-by-step instructions?
Pete

Welcome to the forum! To post pictures as attachments here, click on the quote marks at the top right of the post, then go down in the left corner and click on attachments, add files, and then you can choose from your photo library from your computer. Hit "done"," in line," and then "preview" to make sure that you have the photo before you hit "submit." Or, if you are just responding to a post, after clicking on "post reply", then go down to "attachments."
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I use Photobucket and it is relatively easy to use. Once you select the photo you want in Photobucket you will see some boxes to the right with a title that say's share this photo. Copy the link in the box next to IMG. Then you just paste that link into the body of your message here where you want it to show.
One note: I resize my photos to share here to 600 X 800 pixels so they don't get too large for the screen here.
