Welcome from Central Florida.
Love to hear about the French gun laws and how easy/difficult gun ownership is there.

Re: Hello from Nantes, France...
to danwin22, for fun :
curious law in France:
to buy any class C equipment, such as a rifle ... :
a valid shooting license is required. one month two months whatever...
OK why not....
initially, I could have been interested in buying a big boy in 357 magnum, to be able, 6 or 7 months later, to acquire a revolver of the same caliber to make shooting at the sports club. well to reload, one caliber only....
BUT ...
the handgun ammunition is classified in France in category B, so it takes at least 1 year shooting club ... and the agreement of the club president to be able to get buy right.....
OK why not....
BUT, and, it's fun, 44 MAGnum is NOT in B category but in C, so I could have bought a big boy 44 and ammo right now
unfortunately the ruger redhawk 44 OR s&w 29 stay in category B !!!!
the error is not complete ...

BruniX, sounds complicated. You have to be serious about being a gun owner in Europe.
Looking at ammo on my shelves I see various .22, .25, .380, .38, .357, 30-30, .40, .44, .45 and 9mm.
