Hello from California- Don't hold it against me.

Post by 7Warriors » Sun Oct 28, 2018 12:19 am

I'm new to Henry and to this forum. I have a Big Boy Steel on order from Bud's. I do own a Marlin 30A of '82 manufacture. She plain Jane, but she's smooth and shoots well. I'm retired LEO and I like guns, reloading, hunting with them and just shooting for pleasure. I like the history, the looks and nostalgia of the lever rifles and wanted an ammo companion for one of my revolvers. I've read and watched good reviews about the Henry Rifles so I chose the Henry Big Boy steel rifle. She will be carried, fired and God willing, help me put deer in the freezer.

Welcome to the Forum from the "Show-Me-State," 7Warriors.

There are a lot of Big Boy owners here, and I'm sure you'll enjoy sharing about your soon-to-come Henry experiences with the BBS, too. Also hope that your freezer will someday be packed with a good deer harvest!

Welcome to the forum! You'll find a lot of great people here, very knowledgeable and willing to share their experiences and advice! Sounds like maybe you are getting the BBS in .357? There's no bad choice in caliber, but many Henry 357 shooters here (including me). About to plunge into the reloading pool, starting with that round...

Welcome again, and congrats on your first Henry!
