found out from Henry the born on date was May of 2017 so this is a new rifle! will give it a ride this weekend and let everyone know how it shoots.

Went out shooting this weekend with 240 gr white box. I was amazed at the rifle! it not only looks good but shoots good too. I was able to hit anything I wanted from 25-75 yds. but out to 120 yds got a little iffy.

For good ol' WWB, that's nothing to sneeze at, good for you! Assume it was with the stock iron sights? If you want to keep the "look," you might investigate Skinner Express Peep sights and a Lyman globe front. BIG difference. With a modest scope, you'll be amazed!

yeah here is another pic in the field next to my buddies BBS in 357. We both broke them in this weekend! Yup I was using the factory irons. I like to work on those first just to see how good/bad they are. I have no previous history with Henry sights so had to give them a whirl. liked them, not real fast on target but once I got on target I shot well. I mostly shoot offhand standing as that is the way I like to shoot, not much for bench resting.
