after seeing a video on the net,
I fell in love with Henry rifles, and especially the 45-70 brass lever action octagon.

In addition, it is difficult here, in France to buy ammunition usable in handguns, they need a license category B, very long to obtain. (2 years)

the 45-70 is in category C, easier to get.
as this model henry (H010B octagon barrel) is not imported in France, I tried to go through a German seller, who thought he could import. after a year, I gave up, he could not get one.
At the time, the long ranger was not imported in France either.

at the same time , I wanted to find competent people, on the henry products and reloading. that's how I discovered the forum.
because of price, it's necessary to reload to be able to shoot a lot of 45-70 round !
(in France, commercial ammo , 1 round 45-70 = 2,5 $ !!!!
As I also loved the marlin 1895 SBL, which is not easy to find either in France, I continued to search, and found one after a few weeks.

so I do not (yet) Henry, but I love the forum ! :P

and I shoot with a marlin

See you soon !

After years of wishing and waiting, I finally got a 30-30 AW...! The All weather finish is exactly what I’ve been waiting for (apparently) Now I need to find a decent gun case that protects but doesn’t break the bank. I stumbled across this forum whilst researching all things Henry.! (yesterday)

Check out either the Henry Orange or Henry Green Rifle cases on the "Henry Proud" accessories page. Won't break the bank, well-made, and look nice when displayed at the range!
