Hello
Hello all.
I just ordered my new Henry, so I'm a total novice to the brand. I am not a novice to firearms. I own several, have built several, and do gunsmithing as a hobby for family and friends. I spend my non working hours in the field or on the stream. I ordered the big boy steel carbine in 44 mag with the 16.5" octogon barrel with a color case hardened finish.

Re: Hello
Welcome to the forum from KC! You'll have a great time here, and it sounds like you'll have a lot of wisdom to pass along.
That's Henry's most popular caliber and one of the hottest new finishes they make. Look forward to pics and range reports. We like both around here.
Congrats and welcome again!
